Josh Elliott

Artistic Director

Josh is a playwright, dramaturg and artistic leader of Anglo-Indian and Irish heritage. His writing has been staged at the Almeida Theatre and the Royal Court.

With his contribution to the Almeida’s The Key Workers’ Cycle described by The Guardian as “fantastically weird, funny, macabre”. His full-length play Cannibal Tom was commissioned by the Almeida and is currently under option by Stratford East. Before joining Vital Xposure, he spent six years at Graeae, supporting Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists. As Literary Manager, he co-commissioned work including 12 Letters To My Name by Lettie Precious, now coming to Sheffield Theatres, and Jinnity by Shahid Iqbal Khan, currently in development.

At Vital Xposure, Josh leads the company’s artistic vision, shaping projects, partnerships and artist development across its disabled-led programme.

Foteini Galanopoulou

General Manager

Foteini is a project manager and producer with twenty years’ experience in UK’s disability arts. She has consulted arts organisations how to become more inclusive, managed European projects in universal design, and has been producing work by disabled artists.

Among others, she has worked with filmpro, Camden People’s Theatre, the Thelmas and the Centre for Accessible Environments.

Alongside the above, she set up initiatives to promote disability and deaf awareness outside the UK.

Access, equality and social justice are core values in her work.

Foteini’s VX work covers company management, operations/HR, projects and productions management, strategic communications, fundraising and development.

Nicole Latchana

Literary Associate

Nicole is a playwright and dramaturg with ten years’ experience devising with communities and developing new writing.

She is Associate Artist at London Bubble, where she has made work with artists with experience of the criminal justice and care systems, and works with Action on Disability as a Support and Youth Worker. A former Vital Xposure Wellspring Writer, her credits include A Practical Guide On How To Save The World When No One F***ing Else Is, Landing Bolts, Choking Hazard and Dough.

As Literary Associate, Nicole supports artist development, script reading and dramaturgy, with a focus on championing disabled and neurodivergent writers and accessible creative processes.

Mandy Precious

VX Labs Project Manager and Researcher

Mandy Precious works as a freelance consultant across research/evaluation and fundraising.

She has 30+ years’ experience working in the cultural sector including senior roles in regional theatre and as the CEO of Burnley Arts Centre.  Across her career, Mandy’s focus has always centred on access, community engagement and inclusion in the arts.

At VX, Mandy sets up each Lab working in conjunction with colleagues. She manages the research process, including the write-up of all Lab findings.

Theresa Veith

Executive Director

Theresa has over twenty years’ experience of working in senior leadership roles in the charity sector, predominantly in participatory arts and theatre.

Theresa has over twenty years’ experience of working in senior leadership roles in the charity sector, predominantly in participatory arts and theatre. Prior to her role at Vital Xposure, Theresa was Interim Operations and Development Director at Babylon Arts in Ely and Executive Director at Entelechy Arts for three years where she successfully secured ACE Catalyst funding for the organisation.

Alongside these roles, she holds a Masters in Voluntary Sector Management and has a Diploma in Charity Accounting.

Kate Baiden

Interim Chair (she / her)

Kate is a Theatre Producer and General Manager. She has held in-house Producer roles at Kiln Theatre and the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre as well as Producer and General Manager roles at Graeae Theatre Company.

Kate has also worked at New Diorama Theatre, artsdepot, at the Department of Education, and as a freelance Development Producer.

Kate has the privilege of working closely with the Vital Xposure team, as well as leading the dedicated trustees, to oversee the governance, financial, and general wellbeing of the organisation.

Arielle Etheridge

(she / her)

Arielle is a multidisciplinary artist, curator and writer whose research and practice focus on contemporary Black art, diasporic histories, decolonial curatorial practice, public engagement and institutional change.

Professionally, she has worked across interpretation, research, operations and public engagement with organisations including Tate, the British Council, The Box, Holburne Museum and Southbank Centre. She is Co-Editor of the Agents of Change section of Made in Bed and serves as a trustee of Plymouth Culture.

Rima Dodd

(she / her)

Rima is the Project Producer at Complicité where she also served as the Creative Engagement Producer Maternity Cover from 2022-23. At Complicité, Rima has worked on large scale UK and international touring productions, in-depth community engagement projects and runs Complicité’s artist and ideas development programme, Mudlarks.

Previously, Rima served as the Director of Education at the Irondale Ensemble Project in New York City, creating ongoing partnerships with NYC public schools, producing city-wide teen theatre events, and finding creative ways to engage the local Brooklyn community in the work of the theatre.

She has producing and teaching experience in the United States, South Africa, Japan and the UK.

Claude Graham

(she / her)

Claude is a producer and project manager with a background in participation, audience development and access. She’s been at the National Theatre since 2024, first as National Partnerships Manager, convening a network of regional venues across England, and subsequently War Horse Project Manager, producing a large-scale programme of wraparound activity.

Prior to this, Claude worked as a freelance producer with companies including Spare Tyre and Strike a Light. She has produced several UK tours, co-created productions with communities, and taken participatory sensory shows into non-traditional settings.

Claude is delighted to be a Trustee at Vital Xposure, to support bold new writing and talented new writers offering fresh perspectives.

Chris Pike

(he / him)

Chris is a leading UK autistic voice and disability consultant with over a decade of experience in neurodiversity, accessibility, training, and speaking, with a major focus on theatre and the creative industries.

He is the co-founder of A Relaxed Company, which provides specialized training and support for major productions such as The Lion King and Matilda. He also serves as the Access Advisor (Audiences) for Shakespeare’s Globe,

Previously he managed the Reframing Disability programme at Media Trust in partnership with the BBC and the National Autistic Society’s Autism Friendly Award.

Chris is extremely excited to be part of Vital Xposure’s journey as a budding freelance disabled theatremaker himself.

Midge Ryall

(she / her)

Midge joined Vital Xposure’s board of trustees in October 2025. She spends most of her time producing for Unfolding Theatre. She previously worked at Durham Students’ Union, managing their student-facing services.

Midge is also a freelance artist and producer. She is passionate about bringing people together to connect with each other and tell their stories. Midge has worked with communities across the North, and also plays drums in a rock and roll band in her spare time.

Jamie Swift Drake

(they / them)

Since 2012, Jamie has worked at a range of charities and organisations in the third sector – with extensive experience in artistic and cultural causes. Their expertise lies in fundraising; and they have been a part of securing significant and transformational long-term strategic funding over the years. Jamie currently works at The University of East London where they are the Fundraising Manager.

Outside (and inside!) of work, Jamie is a firm believer in everyone’s right to access and participate in arts and creativity.
