About our productions

Our theatre productions make a strong artistic statement about disabled-led theatre and new writing. We dare ask questions both about how to make theatre and what story to tell: you will not see a conventional story on stage with Vital Xposure.

We use creative access as an artistic force that permeates the production from script development through to how the play is staged.

We transform the theatrical language, making our shows feel weird at first but their weirdness has a purpose. It enables audiences to enter the world of the characters and the play in an unconventional way and to experience what the characters experience in a magical place. This world may be fantastical, but the feelings inside them are completely real, part of many people’s every day life.
